Airless Tire

Bridgestone has unveiled a new airless tire at the 42nd Annual Tokyo Motor Show, replacing the traditional inflatable tire with a web of thermoplastic spokes.
The new tire isn’t susceptible to blowouts, and the spokes are set up in a configuration that’s designed to keep the tire’s tread from twisting and coming loose.
And, as if the prospect of never changing a flat tire on the side of the freeway again wasn’t exciting enough, the entire tire (including the tread) is recyclable.
