Crafted by Italy’s Maurizio Cattelan this piece is entitled L.O.V.E.; can you guess what the locals have named it? Carved out of arrara marble, just as Michelangelo used; there’s some controversy as to whether or not the city of Milan knew what the statue was going to look like, or if they only knew the name and just trusted Maurizio. There’s a very simple reasoning for the debate… its located directly out front of the Italian stock exchange building.
